Interesting ground. One decent stand along half of one side of the pitch. Pitch itself had the biggest slope I have seen. It sloped both end-to-end and wing-to-wing. Bar facility was basic, but adequate. Car park was adjacent to the ground, and I wasn't charged for parking there. Beautiful wooded hills as background, when viewing from the main stand. Entertaining game. Barwell played the better football overall, and scored two excellently worked goals, but Alvechurch were more direct and ultimately more effective, and more decisive when chances came along. It was a pity that the beautifully judged 45 yard effort by Barwell was brilliantly tipped over the bar by the retreating keeper.
