I was working for Audi Volkswagen in Milton Keynes and we had invited a football team from Volkswagen in Kassel in Germany to come over and play us at football. We won the Game 4-1 which had taken place on the day before (Friday) i scored two goals in this game !!!. As a treat my boss bought tickets for them all to go to Nottingham Forest as the Germans wanted to dsee Kevin Keegan playing for Southampton, but when we got there he was not in the squad. I think he was injured. The only thing i remember about the game was the strangest incident i have ever seen in a match whereby a Southampton defender literally caught the ball from a cross and just held it in his arms, No one could believe it including him and when he realised what he had done the referee just gave the penalty and Forest won 2-1. Bizzare !!. Have the programme but still looking for a ticket stub for Forest for that season.
