Abandoned after 87 minutes. On a sunny afternoon at the Stoke Gifford Stadium, Stoke Gifford SGS United took on Ruardean Hill Rangers for this first round tie. Nothing really happened in the opening minutes as both teams never really got to grips with the game. In the 12th minute Oscar Sealey broke free for Gifford but his shot was saved by Aaron Underwood. The deadlock was broken in the 18th minute when a poor throw in by Gifford was seized by Hill and played through to Steve Clarke who ran through to put Hill 1-0 up. The second half was all Stoke Gifford but they couldn’t find a breakthrough. Hill held firm until a dismissal led to an unfortunate melee in the 87th minute which forced the game to be abandoned.
