What a great night. I was stood at the rear of the away stand behind the goal the rear of which had wooden beams and our fans made lots of noise banging on the corrogated sheets that made up the wall. Preston still had there awful artificial pitch which should have been a huge advantage to them but some sublime finishing ensured a well merited and impressive victory. Goals came from Bishop Malkin(2) and Muir. This was the first of three visits that season as we bowed out of the Fa cup in November sandwiching a 2-2 draw on Boxing day.
