European Super Cup 2nd Leg. Hughes (13) 1-0, Van Der Elst (71) 1-1, Fairclough (85) 2-1. Liverpool lost the first leg 3-1 and Anderlecht won the tie 4-3 on aggregate. The game was played in fog and for most of the time you couldn''t see the other end of the pitch from the kop. After Hughes scored the kop sang ''Oggy, Oggy, tell us who scored.'' Oggy was Liverpool''s reserve goalkeeper Steve Ogrizovic. The kick off is listed as 19.30 but my memory is it was delayed because of the fog.
