Well continuing on from the Carlisle report we had about an hours Journey to Morecambe, we knew it would be tight to make kick off and so it proved. Traffic going into Morecambe was pretty bad and we arrived at the ground late, by the time we found somewhere to park and made our way into the stadium 25 or so minutes had already gone and we missed Grimsby's early goal. Luckily the lad on the turnstyle surprising let us in as a concession after I hinted he should for us being that late, so it only cost a tenner. This game was much better than the first, I did keep getting distracted by a number of fit birds that were about didn't miss any goals this time as a result though! Morecambe equilised in the 2nd half and then put Grimsby under all sorts of pressure towards the end of the game, they should really of nicked it! Journey home was fine, Steve drove all of it, we had a brief stop off for something to eat at a motorway services and had to wait a ridicoulous amount of time to be served! All in all a good trip and 11 hours in the car wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
