With Rotherham in trouble off the field I thought I would get down the Don Valley asap. Rotherham looked a decent side, far too good for Chester, who, Kevin Ellison apart, looked really poor. Perhaps it did not help their cause when the ground-staff turned on the sprinkler system just as they left the pitch after a pre-match warm-up . The return match has just been played, this time 5-1 to Rotherham and Ellison again the Chester scorer.   Rotherham seem to have the brighter future.
