Went to this game with Hibs and Steve in Steves van. Bomber and Cheryl surprised us by saying that they wanted to come along with us and go shopping in Bournemouth as they had been there about a year ago together and enjoyed it. When you asked Lee what is was like though he just said "ok", what a strange German.
Left earlier to give them some shopping time and so that we could watch the footy in a pub first and its a good job as the half term traffic was awful and we didn't arrive until 14.30 and still had to park and queue for tickets as you cant pay on the turnstile. It was a really good game and you could see why Bournemouth are top as they played some great football. Grimsby should have scored first and their striker put his chip wide with which he really should have done better. Its a nice ground for the 2nd division but just needs a fourth stand to finish it off. We seemed to sit in the odd box corner as there was loads of geeks with huge radios and headphones, a grown up bloke in full kit and three ish scalves, a bloke who took up two seats and some rather strange looking others!
Went for some fish and chips on the front after the game and meet the shoppers. Steve got us home in unbelieveable time which i was pleased about as it was rather squashed in the back of the van. Pleased to get this ground out the way and after the journey down there turned out to be a good day. Have now seen all 92 teams play at home in the football league but must wait a month for Cardiffs new ground - glad i am not off to Exeter the week before!!

went with pagey, Steve (who drove), bomber and cheryl. Journey there was shit and seemed to go on 4ever due to bad traffic on the motorway. Got to the ground about 10 mins before kick off after dropping bomber and mrs in town 4 "shopping". Game was pretty good actually and the cherries were playing some decent stuff-could see why they were top of the league-full of confidence!!! I obviously did not give a toss who won or lost, all i could think about was how town were getting on just down the road @ plymouth, which finished 1 all AGAIN!! All the cherries fans looked as though they needed a pre let alone a post xmas detox, especially some unit, sorry industrial estate, who sat in front of us taking up two seats! Left with 5 mins to go as to avoid the traffic and get chip supper which weren't all that. Bomber and mrs didn't buy a thing and imagine leeeeeee got moaned at and questioned as to why we went all that way just for a 3 hour wander round, although he'll never admit it!!! Journey back took half the time in comparison to on the way and hate to think how many tickets Barnard will get in the post 4 speeding!! Good day out overall though!!
