A Jermain Defoe hat-trick to celebrate, but I think this was a little poetic justice. Swansea had the game moved from Tuesday to Wednesday because of a Sunday cup fixture which I was also at. Not one of the players who started at Oxford started tonight. Taking the mickey or what!
Awful 1st half from Sunderland but we did very well after van Aaanholt's goal and the victory was very much deserved. We're in with a chance of survival again!

One of the newer grounds - not a big capacity - but adequate seating, refreshments and toilets. Pie and a pint £7 not too bad.
Try the Alma pub (10 Bennett St, Swansea SA1 2QH) for a decent pint and friendly clientele.
Good nearby street parking if you don't park in the residents only bits.
Fantastic game for a neutral 0-1, penalty 1-1, Swansea red card, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, Swansea disallowed goal, 2-4, mass exodus!
Note to Sunderland - what's with the away green strip? What's wrong with your real strip when playing against all white?
