Match no. 307. A great performance from England with goals from Channon (2), Clarke (2) and one each from Bell, Currie and Chivers that set them up nicely for the crucial World Cup qualifier v Poland 3 weeks later. Manager Sir Alf Ramsey replaced captain Bobby Moore with Norman Hunter for this game, after a poor performance by Moore in the away qualifier v Poland.
