Match no. 339. I was somewhat fortunate to obtain a ticket for the Final through my football club, Alexandra Park. They received two tickets and issued them by a ballot amongst members. One of the winners, Alan Venner, sold me his ticket at face value for which I have been forever grateful. Alan Taylor scored both goals for West Ham and Bobby Moore, of course, played for Fulham. Not a great game but a special occasion and the first (and 40 years later, only) time I''ve seen West Ham win a major trophy!
