Comments :
Went with Pagey and Lee in my van. Stood behind the goal and Lee had his cup of tea knocked over by a poor shot with hit the hoarding. We were all bloody freezing throughtout the game and left early missing the late winning goal.

Went with Steve and Lee, picking Lee up from Cheryl''s on the way. After watching some of the Arsenal v Leeds FA Cup game in Chelmsford we made our way to the athletics stadium where Chelmsford City play. Football was clearly a bit of an after thought here as the stands were miles from the pitch. There was however quite a nice set up and everybody seemed friendly. As usual Lee provided a comedy moment by placing his Hot Chocolate on a fence behind the goal and having it knocked off by a shot after just 20 seconds. We all swapped ends at half time but the second half was so cold, stop and start and really dark that we left after 80 minutes and missed the goal. Chelmsford clearly deserved to win as they had played some good football.

Went with Steve and Rob. Got picked up from Witham and just a short ride to Chelmsford where we had a quick drink in the Sports Bar before heading to the ground. Parked up along the road alongside Chelmsford''s ''rough'' estate and made the short walk up to the ground. Cost £11.50 to get in and we stood on a small terrace right next to the pitch behind the goal. Within 5 minutes of kick off a rogue shot smashed against the fence I had left my cup of hot chocolate on and I just managed to avoid being covered in it. I thought the standard was ok. Chelmsford had several chances and looked much the better side. In particular their right winger looked good on the ball. Went to the other end of the ground for the 2nd half and it got cold quickly as the sun dropped. There were alot of stoppages in play in the 2nd half and the ref was getting a bit of stick from the home fans. We went about 10 minutes from the end as Rob had to get back for gritting. Heard after the game Chelmsford had managed a winner and on reflection from what we saw deserved the win.
