With the majority of the Socceroos being based in Europe the venue for their friendly against Denmark was Loftus Road, in the middle of London's Aussie expat community. Freezing cold evening was made less uncomfortable by a an impressive Denmark display in the first half. Two goals from Thomasson helped Denmark clinch a comfortable 3-1 win.
