Comments :
Bristol Rovers 1-0 Shrewsbury Bristol Rovers moved into the top half of the League Two table with a narrow victory over Shrewsbury. Former Torquay striker Chris Zebroski scored a stunning right-foot volley from the edge of the box on 19 minutes after a Matt Harrold knockdown. Rovers defender Cian Bolger saw his header blocked on the line towards the end of the second half. Shrewsbury thought they had levelled in stoppage-time but Scott Bevan saved Lionel Ainsworth's 25-yard drive. VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM Shrewsbury Town manager Graham Turner told BBC Radio Shropshire: We had so much of the ball in and around the Bristol Rovers penalty area, I thought sooner or later something might drop for us or we'd be bright enough to create something. Having got the ball in good areas we failed to produce a position where we could get a shot in. Bristol Rovers manager Paul Buckle told BBC Radio Bristol: It was always going to be tense because we were playing a side who have won four on the spin. It's a massive win for us because we looked confident and the amount of stuff that's gone against us lately, with the injuries... it's been a nightmare. The players have dug in, we've remained consistent with each other and I'm delighted with the three points.
