Cheltenham were frustrated by a dogged Wycombe side, who were unable to make the most of a early own goal.
The hosts took the lead when Joel Grant's cross was turned into his own net by Robins defender Keith Lowe.
But Shaun Harrad brought Cheltenham level after Stuart Lewis had fouled Marlon Pack in the penalty area.
Lowe almost made amends for his earlier error but shot over from close range, while sub Jeff Goulding was superbly denied by Wycombe keeper Nikki Bull.
Wycombe manager Gary Waddock told BBC Three Counties Radio:We were up against a very good Cheltenham side who had long spells of possession.
Credit to our players, we're down to the bare bones, we're asking players to play who are not 100% fit, we're asking a coach (Gareth Ainsworth) to come off the bench and perform.
We have a number of players out, the starting line-up from the York game to today was completely different, so it's a point gained for us.
Cheltenham Town Manager Mark Yates told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:We shot ourselves in the foot. We gifted them a calamitous goal but the response from that was fantastic.
We didn't do enough second half to really go and grab it. I felt we should have won it by half time. They made it difficult for us but we still had enough to win the game.
It's a tough place to come. We're disappointed not to have won but we can take a lot of heart from things that happened today.
Even at the end we were still pressing and we still had three or four great chances in the last six or seven minutes.
