A trip cockney land and Crystal Palace away was next for Birmingham City''''s stuttering promotion campaign !! Birmingham 2nd in the table but not playing well, not scoring goals and overpaid players just not producing !! Without Kevin Phillips goals Birmingham would shorly be in the lower half off the table. Unrest among the supporters who has given Alex McCleish chants off ''''''''you dont know what your doing'''''''' the previous Saturday at Coventry away.   - - Fletch and Joe headed to this one, Joe who had not missed a game all season headed off to his 42nd game off the season, Fletch equaled his previous best for away games in the season attending away game number 13 !!   - - The lads met at the ground, Fletch got the Barnsley and Doncaster away tickets for the next couple off away games and the lads soon headed off on the coach. Jenny from work was next to them on the coach who was travelling up there with her dad.   - - The new 14 year old Blues supporters group at the back off the coach where soon loud and being annoying, they where far too noisey...........................the lads must be showing there age.   - - A straight forward drive to the service station and the lads popped off for a tinkle. Fletch was hoping to nab some playing cards as a little short at home but with piggys everywhere there was no chance off that !!   - - The lads headed back on to the coach and arrived at the ground about 7pm, Joe polooted the ozone layer while Fletch went to search for beer, Fletch was happy to find bottles off fosters on the sale and the lads soon tucked in too a few pre-match beers.   - - Kick off soon arrived and the lads headed in to the ground, the ground was a bit off a dump but better than quite a few in the Division !!   - - The game started slow and instead off getting in to the match the lads decided to discuss Jordan''''s boobs !!   - - Maik Taylor made a low save early on, the only one I can remember him making !!   - - The first half was slightly edged by Blues, Marcus Bent, Lee Bowyer, Carlos Costly  - - and Keith Fahey all going close. Palace probably should have had a penalty towards the end off the first half when Fahey impended Richard Warren''''s ex Blues favourite player Neil Danns but the ref waived away the appeals !!   - - Half time, a quick beer and out for the 2nd half for the lads !!   - The 2nd half was mainly Blues. More chances come that where taken, Lee Bowyer again went close. Cameron Jerome was brought on in place off Carlose Costly. Blues continued to press but could not find a way through, with about 12 minutes to go Carle playing for Palace for some reason thought you could tackle studds first, with this not being alow a straight red card was shown !! Before the end the ref tried to even things up booking both Bowyer and Johnson !!   - Jerome twice went close at the end somehow missing a header from a Liam Ridgewell cross but Blues could just not find a way through, the game ended goaless.   - The lads headed back home, a long journey took place as the ground was in the middle off nowhere, the lads arrived home around half 1 via a taxi from town and soon hit there SEPERATE beds !!
