Gateshead cheated their way into the Play Off final by feigning an injury and having a Grimsby player sent off. The referee who is famous for brandishing cards was completey fooled and sent off Scott Neilson. Sam Hatton confounded matters by also being sent off reducing Grimsby to nine men. It was a bitterly disappointing afternoon for 2000 odd fans who had travelled up for this match. Gateshead become my number one hated team.
