Took a wrong turn and ended up in Boring-wood but that did the hosts a diservice as Tranmere where equally inept. A game of few chances saw a Maynard backheel loop up and forced the keeper to tip over but did he mean it? Borehamwood had a goal disallowed for having gone out of play before being crossed in and Norwood had an effort saved towards the end which was the only other shot on target. Borehamwood have only kept five clean sheets in 27 games two of which have been against Tranmere which seems strange, after losing 1-4 on Tuesday you would be looking for and expected a reaction, apparently the manager had stressed the importance of a clean sheet as priority no skill or passion or pride on show today in this relegation dogfight dire. Approx 324 away fans meant they had over 50% of the crowd
