Last game of the season for us and a long drive (2 hours 20 minutes each way). Luckily weather and traffic not too bad.
Green Dragon (Welton) for a very pleasant lunch and then parked at the Hull Infirmary with an easy 10 minutes dawdle to the ground.
Very impressive modern stadium set in a park. Excellent viewing and felt close to the action. Hull and Everton fans both very amusing - especially as Liverpool were in the process of conceding the Premier League title to Manchester City. But Hull fans best taunting Everton fans with I saw your sister on Jeremy Kyle.
Football match itself very ''end of season'' with Hull also having (at least) one eye on their cup final next Saturday.
Long drive home through some nasty heavy rain but back home in time to feed the animals and then off for a quickie at the Cholmondeley Arms before pizza at Charlie''s.
A great day to end the season on 69 grounds (including the now defunct Ricoh).

On it at 10.30am. Man City won the league. Saw Europe's smallest window. Classic post-match karaoke. Great day.
