Bromsgrove Sporting beat third placed Leicester Road with a narrow 1-0 victory at the Victoria Ground. The only goal of the game just after half time when midfielder Robbie Bunn struck after a right wing cross from Aaron Roberts had found him unmarked and he finished with a fine volley. Sporting had the chance to extend the lead when Leicester keeper Will Highland brought down Jason Cowley in the area, but the keeper made amends by saving with his leg. Sporting saw the game out to grab a crucial 3 points against one of their nearest rivals.
