Left home at about 18:30 and got the 333 to Amen Corner. Then walked to Tooting Station bus stop and got the 280 to the ground. Was a lot of traffic in Mitcham so I arrived slightly later than I expected at approx 18:30. Started selling programmes at the Gander Green Lane End and sold out about 15-20 mins before kick off. Once finished selling I went and stood on the curved terrace to the right of the club shop. The 1st half was a pretty dull affair and we took the lead on 30 mins with a deflection, which summed up the game as it was a pretty poor game. 2nd half was a much better affair and we extended our league with a lovely finish by Beckwith. We then looked in control of the game and asked Mum to leave so she could pick me up as I was pretty sure there would be no extra time. However, we ended up taking off 3 out of our back 4 through injury and blew a 2-0 lead by conceding a penalty in the last mins. Worthing played well in the last 15 mins to get back in the game and with the back 4 we had going into extra time it looked as though we could be going out. Mum turned up at FT and parked in the car park and came in for the 2nd half of extra time. In the 1st half of ET it was quite a open and entertaining period with a number of chances for both sides which we put away to make it 3-2. We then managed to hold out without too much trouble in the 2nd half from Worthing to play Boreham Wood in the next round. Left the ground at about 22:10 and got back at approx 22:30 ish.
