Fletch and Craig head away for a 3 day break in sunny Blackpool for new year. On the way to Blackpool they follow Fletch is beloved Birmingham City to Stockport County. Sandford drives, Weaver is in attendance and lads head to Stockport. Awful travel means the lads dont make the game until half time, Blues lead 1-0, Tommy Mooney later scores a screamer as Blues win 3-0 under new manager Steve Bruce. The lads are happy and head off to snowy Blackpool for the remaining few days of 2001. With there bags with them they head to Manchester and then to Blackpool.
The lads arrive in Blackpool and check in there B & B before walking along the seafront in blizzard snowy conditions. The 19 year olds are well up for this trip after doing a trip to Blackpool back in August and having a amazing time !! Slabface, bouncers, women if only there was a match report for that trip !! - A few beers and to a club called the seafront for the lads (A new place they haven''t been before) - The place is more off a druggy place and although the lads have a good time it isn''t so much there seen as they are constantly being asked if they can ileagal substances.
Day and night 2 the lads have a chill out day playing pool in the pool place they love in Blackpool, back to the room and they head out for a night out. Fletch pulls in Cahoots when going to the toilet a yound lady asks for a kiss so the pair plays tounge tennis. Fletch goes back to Craig to tell him the great news and keeps going on so he believes him (Dont know why he wouldn''t believe the skinhead stud) - The lads enjoy there funky litre cocktail in cahoots then move on. All the bars shut early as its the night before new years even and the only place open are gay places, Craig ent keen but Fletch convinces him they can pull lesbians, they dont pull lesbians and are soon back in the room with there healthy kebab meat and chips
Day / Night 3 - The lads have a chill out day and go bowling and have a walk about the town - A chilled out day and the lads are out for about 6:30 in a chippy having burger and chips - The lads are soon out on the drink and meet Hayward and Steve who have come up for the night. A few beers in Yates''s and Cahoots and on to the lads favourite nightclub (In front off McKluskeys) THE PALACE !! The lads have a amazing night, they get there complimentary champaigne as they go in and with a hour or so off 2001 left hit the dance floor !! Just as 12am is approaching Fletch pulls a little stunner and gets sum end off year smooches, however as the countdown begins to midnight when it gets to about 5 seconds to go the young beauty believes she should go and find her mates so leaves Fletch !! Fletch stands on his own and watch Craig and Hayward pull a bird each and get there new years kiss while he stands there like a idiot !! The party soon gets in full flow and the lads pull numerous birds each during the night but no-one gets anything extra come closing !! The lads head back to there hotel room via a kebab, Fletch speaks to future mrs Becky on the phone (Dont know what about, I am writing this 9 years after it happend) - The lads go to bed !!
The next day day Hayward drives them back to brum, Steve shows a couple a x-rated magazine at the services and makes the lads laugh - Fletch misses Blues 1-1 draw with Notts Forest. Back in Brum Fletch and Craig have a macces and couple off beers on Broad street then go there seperate ways !!
