Very good result and a big 3 points that should see the start of us moving up the table from now till the end of the season. Left home at approx 12:30 and got the 127 to Amen Corner and then walked to Tooting Station where I got the 280 to the ground. Took much longer than normal because of the awful roadworks in Mitcham. Got to the ground at 13:35 ish and started selling programmes at the Gander Green Lane end as Bob wasn't there for this game. Didn't manage to sell out for this game, which isn't surprising considering the lack of away fans. Ferriby started the game the better side and had the better of the chances but we managed to get the 1st goal with some lovely football, finished off with a lovely finish by Deacon. Ferriby's heads then dropped and you could see that they were the team at the bottom of the league given the way they fell apart. Got the 2nd goal about 10 mins later with nice finish by Collins on the volley from the corner. We continued to dominate the ball and played some lovely football without really getting into 1st gear and scored our 3rd about 10 mins before half time. Lovely pass and move play through the midfield and finished off by Biamou to take us into HT 3-0. Ferriby, again, came out of the dressing room the better side for the first 10 mins and got one goal but could have easily got another very quickly after. We then started to take control of the ball again and played some lovely football in the build up to our 4th, and Cadogan's 1st goal, which was finished smartly by chipping their keeper. We then had a number of chances to increase our lead but eventually got the 5th through Cadogen again with a lovely strike from the edge of the area into the bottom corner. Game finished 5-1 and could have easily been more even when we weren't playing in 1st gear for some of the match. Left the ground and walked to get the 280 back home. Got back home at approx 17:40.
