Left home about 13:00 ish and got lift from Dad to the ground. Got there at 13:30 and started selling programmes at the Collingwood Rec end. Sold out by 14:40 and had to go round to get more only for them to be sold out within 10 mins. The game itself was a one sided game which we dominated apart from a period of about 20 mins at the beginning of the 2nd half. Their only shot on target that I can remember was the penalty that they scored to take the lead which was completely against the run of play after we gave the ball away cheaply and then conceded a penalty. We then equalised about 10-15 mins later from another penalty. We then had a number of chances to take a lead before HT but couldn't just stick the ball in the net. The 2nd half was delayed by 15 mins due to a thunderstorm which was directly above us and it tipped it down with rain for about 5-10 mins. First 15-20 mins was a very dull affair where little happened and it looked as though the game would wear out to a 1-1 draw but we then went up a gear and had a number of chances to win the game but just couldn't find the net. Overall, we should've won the game easily but lacked a finishing touch in front of goal. Got the 280 back to Mitcham and then got the 201 and got back home just before 18:00.
