Comments :
Tranmere loanee Dervarn green was featured on the cover and whilst he started well unfortunately pulled a hamstring after half an hour and had to be subbed. I watched the first half from the seats in the stand which had five rows. After 20mins the ball bounced over my head and into the void behind my seat. It must have been some sight just to see my legs and backside dangling out as the rest of me disappeared to retrieve the ball before throwing it back to the wire no2 carden. The wire were unlucky not to win at the first attempt conceding an injury time equaliser and went into the break level here in an even first half. Second half i stood in front of the changing rooms as ebbsfleet had more possession second half but the wire looked more dangerous on the break forcing several corners before making the breakthrough. Their was a shout for a pen which went unanswered but the ball fell to gray 10 who hit a Daisey cutter into the right corner from the edge of the box. The killer came after a long range shot could only be parried and Mcdonald 9 was on hand to fire home the loose ball. Got to shake hands with the latter as the ecstatic players left the pitch having equalled their best run in the competition
