Comments :
Left home at about 12:30 and got the 127 and 280 bus to Sutton Green and walked to the ground from there getting to the ground at about 13:20. Sold programmes at the Gander Green Lane end and finished selling them about 5 mins after kick off. Stood in the terrace opposite the main stand. The game itself was quite a drab one with very few chances for either side and being a scrappy game it didn't help. It was 0-0 at HT. 2nd half was slightly better in periods with some short bursts of intensity from Sutton but overall we lacked quality and composure to win the game. Took the lead through a deflected free kick from Kenny Davis and Halifax equalised about 10 mins later through some very good individual play from their striker who placed it in the bottom corner from the edge of the area. A draw was probably a fair result but not too many positives to take from our performance. Hopefully that can change on Tuesday night away to Maidstone.
