Left home at about 17:30 and had a pain of a journey to get to the ground. Got to the end of the road and saw that it was queued all the way into Mitcham because of roadworks. Decided to walk/run to Tooting station to get the train but missed it by about 30 secs when I arrived which meant I had to wait 35 mins for a train and ended up arriving 15 mins late. Sold programmes at Gander Green Lane end and finished just after KO by which time we were already 1-0 down. Inept defending throughout the half basically cost us any chance of a result in this game with the full backs playing to wide and forward leaving space in the channels for Wood's pacey forwards to make the most of and dominate our 2 CBs. Individual mistake apparently lead to the 2nd goal but I missed it as I was queuing up for a tea. Hardly created any chances all game and although they deserved to win, they didn't look like much better and only hoofed it up field into the channels for their forwards to run onto. Got picked up by Dad in the car after the game and got back at about 22:00.
