Left home at about 17:30 and got the train from Tooting to West Sutton. Met Ben on the train at Wimbledon and went to the bar at the ground for a couple of pints before the game. We completely dominated the first half and created a few chances to take the lead before eventually going 1-0 up after 25 mins from a corner where Goodliffe tapped it in at the back post after it had bypassed everyone in the box. We had a couple more half chances and the only time Hartlepool really threatened us was from a corner where a header was cleared off the line by Eastmond. We started the second half much like the first and had a couple of chances in the first 15 mins of the half before Hartlepool had more of the ball but didn''t really create too much apart from a couple of chances towards the end of the game which required Bouzanis to pull off a couple of good saves. Thankfully we managed to hold out and got back to back wins in the league. Got the train back to Tooting from West Sutton and got back home just after 22:30.
