Budapesti AK play at Tier 5 in Hungary and Sheffield FC at Tier 8 in England but it was too easy for Sheffield with the score 0-5 at half-time. Egri Erbstein (1898-1949) played for Budapesti AK but was transferred to a Nazi Concentration camp from which he escaped in 1945. He went on to manage the Italian Serie A side Turin that won that league in 1948/49. Tragically, on 4 May 1949 the plane carrying the ''Grand Torino'' home from a match against Benfica in Lisbon crashed on the hill overlooking Turin and all 31 people on board were killed including 18 members of the squad and their charismatic manager, Erno Egri Erbstein.
