Left home in Chester at 10:00 and walked to Chester station to get the 10:35 train to Crewe. Got off at Crewe and got the supporters coach from Crewe''s ground to Mansfield''s ground. The coach left Crewe at about 11:30 and got to Mansfield at 13:15. Met Jacob in Mansfield and went to the pub before the game for a couple of pints. Still don''t understand how they can charge £1.60 a pint when its about £5 per pint at home in London. Walked back to the ground at about 14:20 and walked around the ground before sitting down in my seat in the away end. The game itself was a decent one. The 1st half wasn''t the most spectacular with there being one or two chances between both sides but nothing clear cut. The 2nd half was better and both sides had chances. Crewe took the lead in approx the 70th minute after the ball bounced about in the Mansfield box before it was swept home by the midfielder. Crewe doubled their lead 15 mins after a mix up from a Mansfield defender before the same Crewe midfielder was able to strike it in the back of the net to make it 0-2. Mansfield continued to have chances and got one back in the 1st of 6 added on minutes at the end to scare Crewe. Mansfield could''ve nicked a draw in injury time but didn''t take their chances. Crewe won 1-2 and I got back on the coach to Crewe which left about about 17:05 and got back to Crewe at 18:40. I then walked to the station and got the 18:55 train back to Chester, getting home at about 19:35.
