Comments :
No programme for cup games think they missed a trick not celebrating this short term move or the interest generated for groundhoppers like myself with this game announced as a sell out. To add more salt to the wound their was no shop apparently it''s on line only. I had seen some sale items online but not being able to see items in person nothing was purchased not even a pin badge. From an infrastructure perspective they still seem very armature even denying access to the opposite side of the ground for a quick picture with Hampden as the back drop after the game unusual when most Scottish grounds are very friendly and accommodating. On the pitch it was a decent game the weather was mostly sunny and warm with a breeze not felt from the stand and not effecting the play. South had a goal ruled out for offside whilst Park hit the bar twice as the teams went in all square at the break. An early red card in the second half seemed a little harsh as i thought the defender got some of the ball but he left the field without too much argument(fox 47). The deadlock was broken when a low cross was turned home from close range Reilly 65. The Park keeper had not been given any favours from his defence with several dodgy back passes and finally it took it''s toll as he was caught in possession in his six yard box as the ball was tapped in Cochrane(77). Park did put up a good fight with the right winger creating chances and they pulled a goal back with a nice touch and volley from Healy (89) from the edge of the box and almost took it to penalties but couldn''t quite find an equaliser and South would prove to be the King of Queen''s on this occasion.
