Fine persistent rain before kick off left a slick surface. Generally a game of few chances, the best chance of the first half was from the spot but the FC Isle of man stopper saved for the second game running. Ht 0-0. Litherland were controversially reduced to ten men when a player was adjudged to have dived in the box. On a rare attack the visitors went ahead with a glancing header from a corner (Jones 66) however the lead was short lived as a second penalty was awarded for hand ball and this time their was no salvation as Dunne netted just a minute later. Their were a few half chances for both sides but FC stole the points with a one on one which was partially blocked by the keeper but the shot was too strong and bobbled home for an injury time winner (Leece 90+3)
