Went with Dad. Left home at about 14:00 and walked to Streatham Common and got the train to Wembley Central. Went for a drink in costa coffee before walking to the ground. Thanks to the queues and security checks not being organised we didn''t get into our seats until about 30 seconds into the game. The game itself was a decent one and Bolton were nowhere near their best. Oxford defended and held the ball well and eventually took the lead just after 30 mins through Josh Murphy''s deflected shot. Oxford doubled their lead through Murphy just before HT as he rounded the keeper and tucked the ball away to give them a two goal lead going into HT. The second half was fairly comfortable for Oxford and Bolton failed to have a shot on target all game which allowed Oxford to see out their 2-0 win and gain promotion to the Championship. Walked back to Wembley Central but our train to Streatham Common was cancelled so had to change at Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction to get to Streatham Common. Got back at about 20:00.
