Match no. 1446: First time I''ve seen Real Bedford play in this or any of their previous incarnations. A comfortable win for them after they scored twice in the first 20 minutes. Hertford improved after the break but could not find a way through and Real clinched it with a deflected effort in added time. Remarkably, this was only the second game I''ve been to on 19th October. The first was 56 years ago: Match no. 86 - West Ham 8-0 Sunderland - 19.10.1968. The game in which Geoff Hurst scored 6 goals, still the last time it was achieved in the English top tier.
