Former Tranmere loanee Jake Jervis started for Hednesford who started slightly the brighter until they were gifted the lead on 16 mins through an og from Smalley lobbing his keeper from 25 yards despite the keepers desperate attempts to get back. Warburton equalised on 28 as the teams went in level at the break. The game fizzled out in what was an ill tempered and physical game with both teams cancelling each other out. The away team offered nothing up front but Avro got the wind in there sails after a poor clearance from the keeper a hard low shot from distance fizzed just wide before AJ(warburton) curled a left footed shot onto the bar and left wing back Thiam burst into the box later and crashed a shot against the bar as well as the home side would have felt hard done by not to take all three points. No physical programme and the online effort left a lot to be desired as well.
