Comments :
Went for a bit of groundhopping with Sutton being away. Left home at 11:10 and walked to Streatham Common to get the train to Ascot. Arrived at the ground at about 13:15. The game itself was an incredibly entertaining one with the visitors taking an early two goal lead within the opening 15 mins. They managed to make it three just before HT and it looked like Ascot were facing their first defeat for a long time. The home side came out in the second half and absolutely dominated the game and pegged Guernsey in their own half. Despite numerous chances they couldn't break the deadlock until 75 mins. They then got their second within a couple of minutes and it looked like they would equalise soon. Despite numerous chances they didn't find the back of the net until the final kick of the game from a corner which rescued a point from the home side. Walked back to the station and got the 16:08 train back to Clapham Junction before going to Streatham Common, getting home at 17:30.
