Comments :
My first match in England, as a mate and I went to see 6 matches during 10 days Easter 1996. Bradford were pushing for play-offs in the then Endsleigh League Division Two (level 3) and judging from the greetings both in the match program and on the speakers during half time, foreign visitors like ourselves were not everyday material at Valley Parade mid-90s. The hospitality at Valley Parade was excellent. We had a full tour of the ground before kick-off, and joined the players in the lounge before and after the match. Embarrasingly enough, we missed the 1.st goal after half time due to a terribly pleasant conversation with Glenn Arne Hansen, the Norwegian keeper who was then on loan from Stømsgodset. We had seats in the main staind, and the views towards the valley were great, as the stand opposite still were the old sheds/barracks. When were these replaced by todays stand?
