Comments :
I think the only game I ever saw in all the years of visiting Granny. I may have gone with Timmy Pullen and or Simon Amos. I was impressed with their new modern red plastic seating stand. On the opposite side of the ground was an old timber framed corrugated arced iron shelter for the terrace. I could always catch a glimpse of the ground coming down on the train from Tonbridge or going back from Folkestone Central. Folkestone won 1-0 in front of 240 fans with Ashford fielding a team of : Raine, Gemmell, McRobert, Coates,Nash, Akers, Bacjk, Magri, Horton, Jordon, Hare (sub. Perkins)
