Travelled down with Geraint & S. Had a great day in the pubs of Cardiff before and after the match. Revisited the Walkabout the scene of all the celebrations after the play off final in 2003. It was showing the Wales v England rugby game so two of us kept our heads down ! The match itself ahd plenty of Wolves interest with Hennessey in goal & edwards playnig for the Welsh and Andy Keogh and Darren Potter in the Irish side as wel las Robbie Keane (who got the Irish first goal. Disappointing crowd in such a vast arena, but a great day.

Jason Koumas opened the scoring for wales with his head from a cross from Joe Ledley. Robbie keane equalised then Kevin Doyle put Ireland in front. But Koumas equalised late on to make the game a draw
