We never seem to do well at Prenton and I've never seen us wim here. Another game we expected to win after being on such a great run but it was a poor Friday night show. We struggled to find a pub before the match and were warned off by some dockers just off shift for gonig into one we found in a back-street. Still had better luck on the way home in Chester and I had a great time with the landlords daughter who was just back from university ! The other memory of the day was that so many fans got in to the game on forged tickets ! They were printed on standard photocopying paper with black print on white background. Of coruse we were far too law-abiding to do such a thing but it certainly seemd a very tightly packed away end for such a small "offiical" following.
