One of the first of our "random" away days.  Picking a club with which we had no affiliation, just for that tick in the box, to say that we'd done it! Kidderminster wasn't too far away from Bristol so it all seemed a good idea.   We had a nice leisurely trip up the M5 and stopped off in a country pub called The Mitre on the way into Kidderminster.  On our arrival at the ground we had to explain to the Steward that we were neutral fans and we ended up parking in the club car park for a nominal fee. The actual town itself was an eyesore so we quickly hurried back to Aggborough and made our way into the main stand. The ground was neat, compact and a lot of it was quite modern.  It all suited a club the size of Kidderminster. Although we were neutral we had to support Kidderminster - mainly because Darlington had former Rovers keeper Andy Collett in goal.  Kiddy won 1-0 in the end.  All I can remember is that Sam Shilton was in their squad. I did have one surreal moment when a steam train went past the back of the opposite stand and someone behind me commented "Wouldn't it be funny if the ball landed in the chimney of the train?"  Cue me thinking about the possible ramifications of this for the next 10 minutes as 4th tier football took it's toll on my attention span!
