Leeds' last home game of the 2010/11 season and, although the chance of making the play offs effectively ended the previous Sunday away at Crystal Palace, there was still a party atmosphere at Elland Road as a full house turned out to give thanks to the boys for another good season. The reason for the relatively low attendance figure was that the entire top tier of the East Stand had been taken out for construction on Bates' Motel to commence. With Leeds still in with an outside chance of making the play offs the whites were definitely more fired up than the visitors from across the Pennines, and a Ross McCormack strike in front of the Kop late in the first half was enough to seal what was basically a comfortable win for Leeds.
