Getting to the ground wasn't a problem, plenty of parking available and an easy enough route to the ground, with a large crowd to follow, even saw a fox dart across the road as we got close to the ground. Ground itself looked a bit plain from the outside, but was impressed with the clubshop/ticket offices and the office area at the back of the main West Stand. The concourse was very spacious and well kitted out, had a good cuppa, thought 1.70 was a bit steep bit had it anyway. Stadium looked a bit plain from the inside, but did look modern and it was very clean. Game itself was good, as a neutral, I was basing that on the last game i saw as a neutral which was Scunthorpe - Hartlepool and that was ridiculously dire. First half saw a goal apiece, which i had money on, so was delighted & felt like ladbrokes advert man. Second half wasn't so good, but there was a lively atmosphere throughout, wasnt many Pompey fans there, but they still made a good noise. Only downside was the incessant drumming when noone was even singing, very annoying. Leaving was a bit of a mare, took a good hour to get away from the area becausse of where we parked, would advise a leisurely walk back, look around the shop etc. Memorable moments - Ballboy falling over, Nugent's dive, winning bet, reaction to Man U losing to Blackburn & the fox.
