Away Days! Train just at 17.10 on the Saturday afternoon from Kings Cross with James Chapman, James Barker and his mate Dan arriving into Hull just before 8pm. JB only just made it with his bad back. Drinks were flowing nicely on our table for 4 2 rooms in the Gilson Hotel just round the corner from the station. Dumped the bags off then headed in a cab up to the Princes Avenue then the Newlands Avenue for a pub crawl. Got drunk. Another taxi to Spiders nightclub. Very limited recolection of this place, was asleep most of the time and in a bad way! Taxi back to the hotel at 2am, I went to bed, Chappers went to the hotel bar ! Cafe the next morning feeling rough. Walk around the old town and marina, some nice buildings. Stopped for a drink in a pub. JB to hospital for his bad back. Met him there around 2pm, where he was given some more painkillers. The 3 of us headed off to the ground while JB waited to be seen by a Doc. We had a drink inside the ground and just before kick off JB arrived My 'seat' was seperate from the others but didn't want to stand by myself so moved to where the others were and squeezed inbetween them Hull scored failry early on through our former player Livermoore. Fairly flat 1st half but stepped it up second half. Hull had a player sent off, Harry Kane equalised after Eriksen hit the post from a free kick then Eriksen himself got a late winner, result! Straight back to the station for the train home, full of Tottenham fans. More beers en route. Got back to Kings Cross about 9.30pm. Bus to Southwark then a Travelodge for the night before work the next morning. Great trip http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30072815
