Went as a guest of Barclays Bank, free coach trip, breakfast and a packed lunch provided. Was badly organised at the start bus arrived in Liverpool over an hour after the coach we would have been on got there. Colin and I managed to get a couple of beers in the park facilities outside the away area, however, when we entered the ground there was bar facilities where we enjoyed a few more before and at half time. Liverpool were a class apart three goals up and tore us to pieces in the first half. Mutch scored a consolation goal but the game will be remembered for the fans support of Malky McKay and the warm applause of Liverpool supporters in support of our actions. Don''t sack McKay, Malky McKay, You don''t seem to understand, if you sack McKay, Malky McKay you''ll have a riot on your hands was sung continuously and following a meet between Vincent Tan and Chairman Mehmet Dalman the previous evening Tan announced after the game that Malky would remain the Manager for the foreseeable future.
