Was a blistering hot day during the heatwave. Left home just after 13:30 and walked to Tooting Station getting on the train, arriving at the ground at about 14:45. The game itself started off well for the first 15-20 mins with us being on the front foot and having a few chances to take the lead. The game then died for the next 60 mins or so until the drama of the last 15 mins or so. We managed to take the lead with 10 mins remaining after a long punt forward from our keeper which wasn''t dealt with and bounced over the Barrow keeper before Fadahunsi tapped in for his first Sutton goal. It looked like we were going to see it out and get our first three points of the season but for the drama at the end where a Barrow free kick was floated in from their own area and bypassed everyone and went through our sub keepers hands. It looked like Barrow had taken a point at the death until the 4th official pointed out that it was an indirect free kick and it was disallowed. Thankfully that was the last kick of the game and we managed to see it out at get three points on the board.
