Left home at about 13:50 and walked to Tooting Station and got the train at about 14:20 to West Sutton. Got in the ground with about 10 mins till KO. The first half was a terrible half of football with no flow to the game at all and nothing to discuss apart from one chance we had to take the lead at HT. The second half was a complete contrast and we were on the front foot for the majority of the half and played some nice football throughout it. We managed to break the deadlock not long after HT after some lovely work from Wilson getting to the by-line before cutting it back for Randell to slot home like he did on Tuesday at Swindon. We then pressed on looking for a second and eventually got it 10 mins later after a deep run from Beautyman was picked out by Kizzi and was headed into the top corner to make it 2-0. Hartlepool had more of the ball after that and apart from a long range shot by Sterry, had nothing to show for it and looked pretty dire all game. Got the bus home, first the 280 and then the 127, getting home at about 17:50.
