Match no. 271. First visit to Granleigh Road. Diverted to this game having tried and failed to get into Brisbane Road to see Orient v Birmingham in a Second Division game which Birmingham won to clinch promotion. Granleigh Road was right next to Leytonstone railway station - you could easily watch games from the westbound platform! There was a scrapyard behind the goal at the railway end where match balls kept disappearing into!
