Left home at about 12:30 again and got the bus to Streatham Station. Got the 12:50 train to West Sutton and walked to the ground. Started selling programmes at about 13:30 and continued until the game started. Dad arrived at about 14:15 and we stood for the first half in the Gander Green Lane end. Was a lively 1st 15 mins and Stearn looked very impressive but after that the 1st was pretty poor but considering the heat it was explainable. 2nd half we sat down in our newly reserved seats which now have our name on. 2nd half was just as poor as the 1st and was a really dire game. Was a very good finish by Gomes to win the game for Sutton and that was the only way one team was gonna win the game. Went back by car me got home at about 17:30 ish.
