Went with my cousin and uncle, who lived in Cheltenham, who were struggling towards the bottom of the Conference, Kettering, were fighting for promotion to the football league, and were having a great season, having also reached the fourth round of the F.A Cup. Me, my cousin and Uncle, were all obviously pleased with the result, though whatever euphoria was felt, was soon disperesed by news of what happened that afternoon at Hillsborough.
